Joining this iconic staple is the new wide-glide width version, the MODEL-21 that takes the Classic design to the next level of strength and styling. Matter of fact, the “21” in the fork’s name refers to this being a 21st Century Durfee Girder.

The new appearance and aggressive stance come from the radically arched, triangulated legs that are a big 1.5” in size and differ totally from the skinnier, straight leg triangulation of the Classic. This fork really looks like it could take a punch and then some. The top and bottom angled rockers will also flow better with more contemporary custom designs. Where this fork also differs is in using a Works Performance coil-over adjustable shock for a more comfortable and controllable ride, instead of the Classic’s barrel spring for shock absorption. The MODEL-21 also steps it up by accepting high performance brakes from Brembo and Performance Machine as well as H-D brakes. Rubber-isolated handlebar mounts use the industry standard spacing to give the rider/ builder an almost unlimited choice of bars.
