The Renegade open belt, electric start primary, by Tauer Machine of Mankato, Minnesota, is a high performance unit featuring an 8mm, 3” wide Gates drive belt that spins a front pulley and clutch basket both machined from billet and black anodized. The clutch basket holds nine Kevlar friction plates and ten steel ones for increased surface contact and includes nine coil springs to ensure it stays consistent. A standard backing plate and starter jackshaft completes the kit, which fits ‘90 to 04 Softails.
