Detroit Bros. Drop Seat Sporty Frame
Detroit Bros. Drop Seat Sporty FrameThe new Drop Seat Sporty frame from those lovably wacky brothers, James and Dave Kaye also known as the Detroit Bros., is based on their popular big twin frame. It’s made of seamless one-inch tubing with a .120” wall thickness. It’s stretched out back, fits a 180/200 tire, and the seat is dropped approximately four-inches. Standard rake is 35-degrees, 32 to 40-degrees available at additional cost. If you’ve got an early or late Ironhead or an Evo Sportster or Buell drivetrain, this $1,999 frame could be for you. Frames for rubber mount Sportsters are on the way, so don’t give up hope if a Detroit Bros. bike is what you’re dreaming of. A rolling chassis with options is available online for a $4,000 starting price and includes 60-spoke wheels with Metzeler tires, an FXWG front end, and all appropriate stems, dust shields, bearings, races, and axles. Check out their Assault production bike to see what you could end up with at www.DetroitBros.com or call 866-DET-BROS.
