20
Cover the fork to
protect it then drill
a hole for a 10/32"
tap.
21
Tap the hole for
a 10/32 button
head bolt.
22
This is a simple
fork stop that can
be adjusted to
clear the gas tank
as well as the turn
angle desired.
23
Turn the frame over
and do the same on
the other side.
Double-check your work. This will protect the paint or powder coat on the frame. Regardless of the front
end and frame combination you use, you will need some type of fork stop. You will also need to protect
the frame from the constant abuse and damage of those stops. This has always served me well and you
can put small washers under the button head or use a thick Allen-head bolt to change the spacing
clearance if needed.
24
Now turn the frame over,
slide on the stretched
FatKatz T500S gas tank
and see what is needed
for clearance.
