I used J-Brake forward
controls as previously
mentioned and here you
can see the left side
installed with the kickstand
and the J-Brake shifter rod.
Make sure the kickstand
does not touch the belt.

Make sure you have the correct lean angle with the kickstand down. Often times the
bike will stand too straight up. Ive actually seen a bike fall over when the rider left the
bike and the wheel turned to the right. To gain a little more lean, you can place
spacers or washers under the bottom two bolts of the kickstand bracket as shown
here. Be sure you use longer bolts in the bottom if you do this. Remember, you
need to have at least two or three threads showing beyond the nylock nut.
If you havent already done so, connect the battery and check all your connections. Make sure all the
switches and lights work.

Install the Spyke petcock and fuel line. I like to use the
clear fuel line that comes with the S&S motor so I can
see there is fuel in the line.

Install the Rogue Choppers coil cover, coil and Joker
Machine billet choke cable mount. This is one of those
pieces that just seems to add class to the bike and a
finished look.
You will also note the little red LED on the backside of
the coil cover. Since I had to add relays for the
momentary switches, there was no way to know if there
was power to the coil. There is no on / off with a momentary switch, so by adding the little LED, the
rider can just look down, see the LED and know that the coil has power. If the bike wont start, you
know that power here is not the problem.
