R-Max USA by Roadmax Supports St. Francis High School Chopper Build

R-Max USA by Roadmax Supports St. Francis High School Chopper BuildWhere was this class when I was in high school? It seems that R-Max USA by Roadmax of Ontario, California, has stepped up to the plate by donating their time, expertise, a transmission, a starter, and a 3” open belt primary in assisting St. Francis High School’s Metals Instructor, Brent Stavig, and his class of very lucky kids in building another ground-up custom to compete in the 2007 Donnie Smith Chopper Class Challenge at the Donnie Smith Invitational Bike Show held in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is not the first time around for this group of talented builders as the Iron Saint entry they built for last year’s show won the coveted People’s Choice award in 2006. Not too shabby considering the huge amount of talent that enters Donnie’s show. The current build will depart from the Old School look of the Iron Saint with a more contemporary high-tech chopper.

Some of the companies and individuals which have assisted in the project include Donnie Smith, Brian Klock, Billy Lane, Jaz from R-MAX, Kokesh Motorcycles, S&S, Denver’s Choppers, Crane Cams, BAD Creations, Hardtails, Isanti Performance Cycle, Mutha Country Choppers, Olson Radiator, House of Kolor, Precision Line Motorsports, Extreme Paint, Stacks Creative Customs, Wreck Bros Auto Body & Paint, and Zylstra Harley-Davidson.

Damn, if they had a class like this in my high school, I might’ve learned something.
