Vance & Hines V-Rod Destroyer Indy Series Race Pipe

Vance & Hines V-Rod Destroyer Indy Series Race PipeWhen it comes to drag racing, the name Vance & Hines immediately comes to mind as a consistent winner and a leader in manufacturing parts to enhance quarter mile performance. Direct from their Race Shop, the Brownsburg, Indiana, manufacturer is introducing their new Indy Series Race Pipe for the V-Rod Destroyer. For those who’ve been living in a tree, that’s Harley’s all out, race-only version of their street V-Rod. Featuring stepped header pipes and a full merge collector for even more performance, this quality stainless steel two into one pipe weighs 27% less than the supplied factory pipe. V&N’s dyno charts show a nice gain in both horsepower and torque with the hit coming sooner and staying smoother and Vance & Hines V-Rod Destroyer Indy Series Race Pipeconsistently higher throughout the entire rev-range, the tuned length megaphone sees to that. The pipe has slip fit collector joints with four dual swivel end retention springs maintaining a tight fit and easy installation. Tuning is simplified with O2 sensor bungs and Racepak EGT fittings in both head pipes. This attractive unit is intended for race use only, but V&H does state that it fits all other V-Rod models without modification. Alrighty then, even though these are FOR RACING USE ONLY as V&H clearly states, who’s gonna be the first one to put one of these $749 pipes on their street V-Rod and let ’er rip?
