Speed & Custom Cycles Rigid Softail Double Take frame

Speed & Custom Cycles Rigid Softail Double Take frame I had to look twice to see that this was really a softail, it's that tight. Everybody loves the rigid look, but the lack of rear suspension can sure get in the way of actually using it much for most bikes. Now it seems you can have your cake and eat it, too.
The Double Take frame from Speed and Custom Cycles of Plover, Wisconsin, is claimed to be one of the strongest and straightest on the market. Each frame is assembled from DOM (drawn-over mandrel) steel tubing, which is TIG-welded and stress relieved while in SCC's frame jig. DOM tubing has tensile properties comparable to cold-drawn seamless tubing but with a higher uniformity of wall thickness.

With an 18" seat height, motor-on-center, and right-side drive, SCC produces a well-balanced motorcycle. Standard frames are stocked in two styles: 0" up and 6" out and 6" up and 6" out, although other combinations are available upon request. Each frame features a comfortable, air-ride suspension utilizing Goodyear air springs, which have no seals to blow out. Pas the cake, please. Contact SCC at www.speedandcustomcycles.com or call 715-342-9090.
