Trike from Precision Cycle Works and Mystery Designs

Trike from Precision Cycle Works and Mystery Designs Precision Cycle Works and Mystery Designs have collaborated in building a trike designed after PCW's popular "Detroit Series" motorcycles. After thoroughly investigating the market for a suspension system suitable for the Detroit Chopper Series Trike, Precision Cycle Works decided on using the double-A-arm rear suspension of Mystery Designs. CEO and President, John Stoick of Precision Cycle Works states, "Rather than reinvent the wheel and spend the time and money on developing our own suspension, Mystery Designs has engineered an independent suspension working with NASCAR that addresses correct roll and ride control."

In comparison to a typical solid axle trike, the Mystery Designs independent suspension is claimed to ride softly, corner aggressively without lifting the inside tire and, most of all, revolutionize the perception of trikes in general. This suspension, along with PCW's frames and top of the line components, are intended to capture the trike market. LaWayne Matthies, President of Mystery Designs, has worked on perfecting the air-ride suspension he originally designed in 2000 and looks forward to working with Precision Cycle Works in developing a trike that will be affordable and reliable. Precision Cycle Works' philosophy all along has been to manufacture custom bikes to ride and enjoy and states this trike will be no exception.
